Stroud's 2022 ended in the Peach Bowl semifinal against Georgia — 348 passing yards, four touchdowns, no interceptions, the only blemish a missed deep ball to Marvin Harrison Jr. that would have won the game. He was second in the Heisman vote two years running without ever winning it, and the Texans took him second overall in 2023 (where he was Offensive Rookie of the Year).
