Aeneas Peebles: DL · Virginia Tech · #16.
Closest statistical matches, adjusted for opponent strength.
Aeneas Peebles
Wins the gap play after play. Played for four head coaches at two programs in five seasons: David Cutcliffe, Mike Elko, Trooper Taylor and Brent Pry. That makes two straight seasons on the honors list: All-ACC again in 2024. A game that shows it: 5 tackles and 2 tackles for loss against Rutgers — Week 4, 2024.
Play style
Stout at the point of attack — steady tackle-for-loss production without a standout pass-rush number.

What the box score actually says
29 tackles. 3 passes defended. 0 interceptions. 5.5 TFL.
Counts only, never a rate — splash-event sample sizes this small (interceptions, pass breakups, TFL) are noise as a rate and signal only as a tally.
